The Sunshroom

3m tall glowing, solar powered mushroom which glows at night and recharges by day.

The idea was to build a beautiful and festival friendly installation that would entrall festival goers and lend a spot of shade during the day and shed some light by night while also being friendly(ish) to the environment by supplying its own power.

I was tasked with designing the circuits, programming the Arduino for the LED light patterns and calculating the battery and panel size to be sufficient for its purpose.
